A: What is the diameter of your steering shaft, where the teeth mate with your current wheel? How many teeth does the steering shaft have? If there's an airbag it's secured round the back of the wheel using a few screws, usually two recessed at either side. The airbag is electrically connected to the car using a simple clip-on coupling which disconnects easily. Disconnect the battery when removing the airbag! Once removed you then undo the main nut on the top of the steering shaft which holds your steering wheel in place. You literally need to unscrew 2 screws to remove your airbag, and 1 nut to remove your steering wheel.
Q: Will this boss kit for my Astra mk4 52 plate? It says Astra G mk4 96- but not sure, I've bought an after market steering wheel but it didn't come with a boss kit, and the only ones I can find, are quick release ones, that you have to attach to a boss kit, please help! Thanks in advance!
